Conversation Designer

Remote (US) Full time

We want YOU to join our Conversational UX team! NLX is driving the movement toward customer self-service in a way the Conversational AI world has not seen (or heard!) before. Our service offerings cover any kind of conversational application, including our patent-pending multimodal experience: Voice Compass®. We leverage AI-powdered technology to create simple and delightfully helpful enterprise-level solutions.

If you're up for a challenge, love thinking outside the box (e.g. blending voice & visual interfaces), AND enjoy working across a vast array of industries, this is the opportunity for you!

Qualifications:


  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a UX and/or UI design role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, or any field, as long as you can tie it back to UX design
  • 1+ years experience in a writing-intensive role (copywriting, scriptwriting, content marketing, blogging — if you know how to write, this is your time to shine)
  • Well-developed core design skills and experience iterating every phase of design, from "paper" to pixels
  • Strong conversation design skills with a solid portfolio of VUI and/or chat design projects
  • Proficient prototyping skills and familiarity with visual and interaction tools like Figma
  • Comfortable with finding creative solutions for ambiguous or complex problems
  • Self-driven attitude with willingness to learn quickly and grow on the job
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:


  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or Design (interaction, visual, product, etc.)
  • Significant experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows
  • Clear understanding of Conversational AI and passion for keeping up with industry trends
  • Professional level proficiency in English and 1 or more languages
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
