What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for an innovative and creative Conversational UI Dialog Designer to assist in the design, implementation and tuning of Intelligent Virtual Assistants (IVA) – aka virtual agents leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI). As a Conversational Designer, you will be responsible for shaping the personality and conversational flow of IVAs to ensure customers receive a ‘human’ AI experience. By partnering with our Conversational AI Engineers, you will leverage your extensive language background to script and structure dialogs that are engaging and natural, and aligned with the desired IVA persona. With the customer journey and experience at the forefront of everything you do, you’ll help decide the most appropriate next action and language necessary to produce an exceptional customer interaction- all while developing an AI personality that is engaging and memorable!

  • Story board the customer journey and process flow to ensure that knowledge and responses are delivered in a meaningful and natural format
  • Author dialog flows, applying creativity to ensure the IVA responds in a fashion that aligns with the intended persona
  • Help ‘train’ the IVA to deliver meaningful and accurate responses including post-launch tuning
  • Collaborate with AI technical, consulting, and knowledge teams to develop a solution that exceeds client expectations
  • Participate in the design and continuous improvement of standard methods and artifacts for the Conversational Design team

What skills you’ll need:

Motivation, Passion, Integrity. Those are just some of the attributes valued at TTEC (formerly TeleTech). Of course, there are some other requirements too. These include:

  • 2+ Years in UX writing, microcopy and/or linguistics
  • Experience with or knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, speech recognition technologies and/or machine learning
  • Experience with speech recognition and CLP/NLU/NLG systems a plus
  • Training and/or experience in User-Centered Design principles and User Research
  • Demonstrable experience writing for AI systems
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • 2+ years’ experience consulting with enterprise clients
  • Experience with modern diagram tools such as LucidChart and Miro
  • Bachelor’s level degree in related field required

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated starting hourly range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $100,000-$130,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
