Sr. Content Designer - Conversational Design

In this role, you will:


  • Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websites
  • Lead complex industry-leading conversational design solutions
  • Write, review and analyze complex conversational design content that balances business, operational, or technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluations of variable factors like utterance analysis and language nuances.
  • Independently resolve moderately complex issues and work with teams to meet functional area, project, or process deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of Content Design policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with Content Design peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for lower-level staff

Required Qualifications:


  • 4+ years of Graphic or Website Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of writing/editing experience, ideally with some voice, conversational UI, chat or IVR experience.
  • A portfolio with content-first design examples that represent how content drives the end-to-end user experience
  • A track record of applying strategy, user-centered approaches and insights to your work
  • An ability to create and evolve concepts in a collaborative environment through team and stakeholder reviews; can bring new ideas to the table
  • Experience delivering detailed copy decks, including edge cases and versioning
  • A knowledge of design principles, standards, and UX best practices
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (we use large, complex spreadsheets to develop copy)
  • Can skillfully influence the full customer journey, balancing grace and passion in your daily interactions with teammates, partners and senior leaders
  • Self-starter with solid organizational skills; you can juggle priorities and pivot quickly when requirements, priorities or schedules change
 

Desired Qualifications:


  • At least 1 year of writing/editing experience for voice, conversational UI, chat or IVR experiences
  • Strong attention to detail, including accuracy in grammar and a sharp focus on eliminating errors ​
  • Flawless grammar and syntax; ability to embody the brand tone and voice
  • A track record of applying strategy, user-centered approaches and research insights to your work
  • An ability to create and evolve concepts in a collaborative environment through team and stakeholder reviews; low-ego, can bring new ideas to the table and build on feedback
  • Experience delivering detailed content decks (in Excel a plus), including edge cases and versioning
  • Knowledge of design principles, standards and UX best practices
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (we use large, complex spreadsheets to develop copy)
  • Can skillfully influence the full customer journey, balancing grace and passion in your daily interactions with teammates, partners and senior leaders
  • You are a self-starter with solid organizational skills; you can juggle priorities and pivot quickly when requirements, priorities or schedules change
  • Think beyond individual design and project requirements to see the bigger picture – how your work ties into the larger ecosystem, brand voice and platform strategy
  • Collaborate and build rapport with design, product and tech partners in an agile environment
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working with collaboration tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Figma
  • Financial or similar industry experience
  • Agile experience
  • Mastery of human-centered design methodologies and rapid ideation processes

Compensation: $100,800-$179,200. May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards.
